Between the layers making up the bombs, there are plants and other marine creatures starting to live. The Cancun Underwater Museum, known as MUSA can only be called a success story, as still to this day the artificial reef it created, has made a difference to our reefs and ecosystem. A woman throws her gaze to the sky with intensity and perhaps hopefulness that the sea will once again be reclaimed by its inhabitants. Each male is headless, but the position of the sculptures makes the figures appear like their heads are buried in the sand, similar to positions which ostriches are depicted in. The worms do not eat, they have no stomach or mouth.
